Shakespeare Home Improvement Company is currently remodeling the old Rite Aid Building at 26 East King Street in Lancaster, PA. We purchased the "distressed" property in 2002 and have been removing debris and "redecorating" ever since we purchased it.

The building was originally designed by a prominent architect, C. Emblen Urban, and our goal is to preserve the earlier designs as much as possible. We plan to be working closely with a local architect and sculptor to recreate the facade. This has been one of our most challenging jobs to date, and we hope that the finished product will encourage others in downtown Lancaster to revitalize the area to a place we can all be proud of. Once the facade is completed, the 16,000 square foot commercial property will be available for lease and we would be happy to design the building's interior to tenant specifications. We hope this property will eventually be a showplace for Shakespeare Home Improvement Company.

We've also recently purchased a 2,700 square foot home in the city of Lancaster and we are currently restoring that property so that we can make it available for resale.
